can employer ask for list of prescriptions

I am currently employed at a plastics remanufacturing plant and my employer is wanting a list of all my prescriptions, is he legally allowed to ask for those seeing as how I am a disabled vet?

If the inquiry is not made of other employee in similar job categories, then the inquiry into your medication is inappropriate and most likely prohibited by the American with Disability Act.
