Legal Question in Technology Law in Texas

I am a 17 year old male in Texas. Sunday I made a stupid mistake and sent an inappropriate message to a girl (teen at least 15/16) on my kik users list. Her mom saw it and said she was going to report it to the police(they live in another state I think) . I begged and pleaded with her to not do it and told her the truth that she scared me straight and I won't do it again to anyone. I am not sure if she filed the report but either way will the cops track me and arrest me? Will they warn me? The app allows you to block people so she could have just done that and I deleted the app. Please tell me I am scared this happened a day ago( today is Tuesday) and I am still scared. I want to go to college I want to go to the NFL I made a stupid choice I don't want to bring shame to my family.

There is not much to do unless and until the Mom or the girl report you, except to delete the stuff and don't do that stupid stunt again.
