Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

calling employer often

Employees may not receive calls at my place of employment. My employer is constantly being called by multiple individuals and the department receptionist is fed up. How

can I stop this without getting my employer involved.

Re: calling employer often

You do not say, but I am assuming these are calls from creditors you are getting. If they are, then you can send each creditor a cease and desist letter, telling them to cease and desist from all communications with you, in particular to cease calling you at your place of employment, that you prefer to deal with the original creditor, as is your right, under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. By law, once requested, they have to cease.
