Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Cival lawsuit for debts.

I live in Texas and I am being sued by a creditor. I can't afford a lawyer. Can the take what little money I have I Have in my checking account or my savings account? I own nothing else.

If they take a judgment against you they can take your checking account and savings up to the judgment owed.
