Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

My husband was layed off a year ago. One of our credit card companies is suing us. I have heard that they can go into your bank account and take money. Is this true?

Yes. They have to get a judgment against you first, though.

They'll probably get their judgment. When they do, you should immediately change banks. In fact, do this regularly, every six months (buy a calendar and make notations).
