spousal liability of co-signer for auto loan

If a husband co-signs an auto loan for his son, is his wife liable for the loan even if she did not also co-sign. Son lives in Texas and parent lives in Florida.

The only persons who are ever liable for a loan based on a written document are the persons who actually sign the written document, so the answer is "no."
