Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
In Texas. My wife and I got into a verbal fight. I never touched her but was arrested. She told them I had drugs in the home. They found less than 1 gram in a trash sack that was closed without a warrant. is that legal.

You need to discuss whether the cops had a right to be in your house without a warrant with your attorney Also whether your wife telling the police that there were drugs in the house was an exception to the warrant requirement.
