Legal Question in DUI Law in Texas

I plead no contest to DUI in CA and was given 3 years probation, fines, MADD and 9 months of Alcohol classes. But because I was moving to TX when I got arrested my attorney told me that I can only do these 9 months of classes in CA. But since I don't live there anymore how will I be able to complete these classes? Thank you.

This is something you need to discuss with your probation office in CA. There are cases where people travelling to Galveston for Spring Break get arrested for DWI and they have to come back regularly to meet the probation terms. Its expensive and quite demanding. It is up to the court whether or not to allow you to tranfer your probation to TX. Moreover, non compliance in CA can mean your probation would be revoked and things would get serious very fast. It is imperitive you contact them and see what they can do but the whole time you are on the phone with them remember two words: BE NICE.
