Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I went to court today for DNA results the father showed to be the baby's dad. The father requested the baby get his last name, my question is the person who worked our case filed the baby's new last name on the computer what's going to happen next? I'm going to have to get a new social security card for the baby and a birth certificate?

Your question isn't clear.

Who is the "person who worked the case"? A lawyer? Your lawyer? A judge? Somebody from the Attorney General's office?

You need a certified copy of the court order to get a new birth certificate and social security card for the minor child.
