Contempt Charges

I suggest you obtain an attorney. Court may even award attorney fees if there is contempt. A petition needs to be filed with the court and a hearing held.

Contempt proceedings in Texas

The process for bringing contempt proceedings in Texas is quite simple. However, your chances of being successful will depend upon the language of the Order which you believe has been violated, and the facts and circumstances of your case. I suggest that you have a lawyer review the Order and discuss the available options with you. Also, please note that if you are successful, the Court may award reasonable attorneys' fees. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to give me a call.
