I filed for divorce my ex is willing to sign a waiver of service...up to how long do i have to get it before they wont accept it?

I assume that you do not have an attorney. The waiver must be signed and dated AFTER the divorce is filed. It sounds like you filed the divorce at the courthouse. So she can sign anytime. Then you need to call the court and find out the court's policy on handling uncontested cases to prove it up in front of the judge under oath. It only takes a few minutes. Many courts have this information on-line these days. You did not include your zip code so I cannot tell where you live in Texas. Good luck!
