Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My husband has 50/50 joint custody of his daughter with his ex. When it is her week to have her the daughter has been living with her grandmother and her mother is homeless as far as we know and she has never been seen at the grandmother's house. The custody papers say she must go to a certain school district and both parents have to agree on any change made in regards to education. We were just informed that his daughter is enrolled in a different elementary school this year but it is the same district. My husband was not informed of this change or asked if he agreed to it. When it comes to our week of having his daughter we will no longer be able to take her to and from school since this new school is farther from our house. What can we legally do to keep this from happening?

You need to file a motion to modify this order. If you don't know where Mom lives, you can serve her by publication.
