Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I live in Texas and my wife lives in Georgia. I moved out here after we separated, to get a job. I found out through my step daughters farther she could be going to jail on the 19th of January because of drunk driving charges. She's expecting my daughter to be staying with her boyfriend, whom I don't know. If she does go to jail, can I get my daughter?
