How long does a woman have to be married to a man to be entitled to his estate in the state of Texas

Technically, one moment and a valid marriage is all that's necessary.

However, if he leaves a valid will, he can disown her in the will and it will be held legitimate if done properly.

In addition, if he doesn't have a Will but he has children that are not her children, those children will probably get most of his estate.
