Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I have been married 29 years and we have not started the divorce procedure and my husband just retired, will i still get supposal support, I do not work, nor have an income.

Spousal support is hard to get in Texas, but not impossible. To qualify, you have to show that you have diligently sought employment, so start diligently looking for a job. You don't have to necessarily get one, but you have to be able to show the court you have made serious efforts--the kind of efforts you would make if your life depended on it.

Also, depending on the type of retirement income he has, you may be entitled to a portion of his retirement. If he retired only on Social Security, then you can file for Social Security (assuming you are old enough) using his earnings history.
