Property After Divorce

Parent have been divorced for 6 yrs and moms car&boat are at my dads house. we have not charged storage fee.is it still her property or due to the length of time is it his?can we charge her storage if its not removed from the property.

If you want to charge storage fees send a letter to the parties and inform them that on a specific date you will begin to charge a reasonable fee for the storage. Send it certified mail return receipt requested.
