Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I recently filed motions concerning child support and custody to my child's mother, right now the child is in her care he's 8 months old now however the courts told me she has 7 days to respond if not she automatically defaults so does the definition of defaulting in most scenarios also apply to this specific scenario? also im not on the Birth certificate we just legally did a paternity test through the courts and it was confirmed he is 100 percent mine.

Even if she defaults, you need a judgment from the court. The court cannot sign a judgment if she responds, even if it is a late response. Get a lawyer to help you with this.
