Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Texas-Though I pay child support, I am legally a joint managing conservator. My decree says my ex and I must make decisions together, as joint conservators, on all matters concerning the health, welfare and education of our children. Can she sign off on my 16 year old getting a driver's license if I don't agree? I do not support this for various reasons but she thinks she has the right to sign as legal guardian. Does Texas require both legal guardians' signature in cases of divorce?

Texas does not require both parents to consent to a driver's license. If your divorce decree did not specifically require joint approval of a driver's license, she can do it without you.
