How soon after the trial for divorce will everything be finalized? It is a uncontested divorce with children.

If it's uncontested, then you should be able to show up at the trial with an agreed order and have it finalized that very day. I'm assuming you filed in Dallas County. If so, submit your paperwork to the associate judge (through the District Clerk's office) for approval. Once it's approved, you can show up and finalize it.
