Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Hi, Last week my 24yr daughter "who does not live in my home" came by to pick up some maternity cloths I had gotten for her at food bank. While she was there she went into labor the EMT delivered the baby on my bathroom floor. Friday child protective services contacted me said they need to come to my home to talk to me and that I have to give them mouth swab drug test " I will pass any drug test, I do not do drugs" and that my 16yr son couldn't stay in my home because " I ALLOWED " baby to be born in bathroom. I don't understand I didn't do anything wrong. Can CPS really do this or are they bluffing basically be asses . I'm poor and cant afford any help. Thank You

Lisa

I would urge you to hire an attorney. Look on this website and on www.avvo.com for an attorney that does CPS cases.

CPS can "attempt" to do anything they want. They are an agency to protect children.
