Family loan
What recource do i have in collecting a debt with a relative. I have a signed contract for a $5000 loan that has not been repayed.
How do i go about collecting the debt? I live in Idaho and they live in Houston Texas.

You would have to file suit in Houston, TX. The limit for JP court is $5000 which would not allow for interest or late fees or attorneys fees. You should be able to find a lawyer in HOU who would do this if your documentation is in order and your claim is timely.
