Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

Being sued by an insurance company for an at fault accident with no insurance in Texas.

I have no money at all for an attorney. I tried to speak to several in my area but unfortunately could not retain one to file the answer and negotiate pymts because I just can't afford it. What do you recommend I do at this point? If there are any options at all. Do I just let it go and more then likely receive a default judgement or should I contact the insurance company to try and negotiate affordable pymts? I have been told not to talk to the insurance company but at this point I have no other way of communicating before things get worse. If I do end up with a default judgement what happens next? Most especially regarding my drivers license.

Thank you for any help or suggestions!

Never permit a default judgment..file an answer and make them prove their case. There are defenses to every accident...brakes fail...etc....but unless you are 100 or so ..no money means u are on the street..bood luck
