Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas

i am still legally married to an illegal and am a U.S. citizen but have been separated from him for 5 years now...we have 3 daughters together and he recently got detained by ICE due to a pending deportation order...what options does he have to remain in the country without me petitioning for him since I do not wish to live with him.?
