Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas

My neighbor's landscaping was at the level of my house's weep holes, and even covering some of them. My house would flood along that wall on heavy and flash-flood rains. As a result I have water damage and a mold problem. Will my flood insurance cover this? Is there anything else I can do to get help?

not enough information to make a determination about flood insurance coverage without your insurance policy for both the flood insurance and your homeowners policy.

Not enough information to decide if you have a claim against your neighbor without seeing a plat and information regarding setback lines on the lots.

You must report it to your insurance company. You must report it to your flood insurance carrier in the event you think there is a flood claim.

To recover from your neighbor, you must place him on notice and get in contact with his insurance carrier.
