Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Texas

i need to sue a physician who has died. Is that possible? I had a tubal litigation surgery in 2000. I have a rare blood type that requires i have a rhogam shot, or i miscarriage at 3 months......thinking i can't get pregnant i never worried about it. Recent medical problems led me to a OBGYN who confirmed I have no signs of surgery for any type of tubal sterilization. Meaning, I never had my tubes cut, and I may have been miscarriaging. The Physician is passed away in 2009....who do I sue?
