Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

If I accept an out-of-court settlement from an insurance company (of the other party) without any admission of anyone's fault in the auto accident (which happened in Texas) be disclosed to other insurance companies (e.g., mine, or others in the future) so that my liability insurance rates could go up?

the effect on your rates depends on whether or not the wreck is a chargeable accident based upon the facts. It used to be that way and I assume that it still is.

All accidents involving bodily injury are reported to the insurance services office with insurance companies automatically secure information on when they opened a file. Your name is in the system including a lot of other particulars on you. Never any indication as to whether someone has admitted fault in then ISO report.
