Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

I was in an accident in August of 2015 with a garbage truck. The garbage truck was at fault. My attorney has sent out a demand letter for 150,000. I broke one of my thoracic vertebrates and was out of work for 3 months. I still have pain. I gave my attorney a verbal "okay" to demand 150,000. After some research I feel that the amount demanded is not enough, especially after medical expenses and attorney fees. Can I ask for more money or is it set after the demand is made? What are my options?

When you're represented by an attorney, other attorneys cannot speak to you regarding your case without your attorney's consent. I can, however, give general advice. Attorney fees are generally not recoverable as part of a person's personal injury claim against another driver. You should speak to your lawyer about your damage claim.
