Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

I was assaulted by bodily touch by a neighbor. The police & ambulance were called. I am mentally disabled. I have been crying all evening into the morning hours. I feel violated. I feel like I'm not safe or wanted in my home neiborhood. I'm terribly depressed. I've suffered extreme mental & emotional pain & distress. Not to mention my arm hurts where he grabbed me violently. I would like to sue him immediately. Could you please advice me as to the steps to take for this procedure. My name is Mary B Baldwin. My email is [email protected]

My phone number is 817 508 0760.

I am an elder. A senior citizen.

I have a psychiatrist & I'm under a doctors care for a spinal disorder.

Big question for you to answer is: If you win and he has to pay you for your damages, how does he pay? Your neighbor's insurance coverage excludes intentional acts, So, a lawsuit against him may not be the answer.

Second alternative is the Crime Victims act if he has been charged with a crime. Google it and fill out the forms and send them in. They will not pay for Pain or Impairment, but they will for medical and wage loss. Good luck.
