Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

Defamation of character

I have worked as a business mgr at a Catholic high school for over 2 years and have an excellent record, establishing badly needed internal controls and receiving praise from Archdiocese internal audit director; developed useful and meaningful financial reports drawing praise from school board and much more. Excellent working relationship with Archdiocese accounting office and internal audit as well as the Catholic School Office. My relationship with staff at school including current and former principal is excellent. However, one of the attorney's at the Archdiocese told my principal that she cannot work with me, that I argue with her, that I will not do what she requests. There is absolutely no truth in what she is saying. Since she has told this to my principal, how many more has she said this to? What she is saying is wrong, there is no support for what she is saying. This is putting me in a very bad light for whoever hears her charges against me.

Re: Defamation of character

My suggestion would be to contact this Archdiocese attorney who is making these comments and inquire what the basis is for this attorney's complaints against you.
