Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

employer neglegence, or indifference, resulting in personal injury.

I had been diagnosed with contact dermititis. I was told by my supervisor that my must care for a patient with MRSA, an antibiotic resistant infection, that can be fatal.

there's noone else she said. although there were many workers on staff that day that were qualified to administer patient care including her. I protested, knowing that broken skin contact dermititis makes a direct route for MRSA to infect a host. policy states that i should not went in, but my supervisor insisted, and i know insubordnation is grounds for termination. now im sick with MRSA and im off work. I turned in the proper forms for disability 1 1-2 weeks ago. today they tell me i must change the form stating that i got the illness from work, so they wont be liable, and so they havnt turned in my paperwork. now they promise "compensation" out of their pocket if i change how i say i got the illness. without checksnow, i cant get medical help. do i have a case? please help me. im getting kicked out of my apartment soon. T-Y

Your employer may be guilty of gross negligence and depending upon the severity of your illness, the cost and the time for recovery, a lawyer should be interested in your case. I know I would be. If you want to talk to me about it call 1-877-320-5232
