Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

So I was helping my folks move some stuff in their shed. stepped off a missed the steps ( just a couple paver stones) and broke both of my ankles. Im now outta work and their home owners insurance are now saying they will not cover my surgery. I cant work I cant pay my bills and I had to have surgery. Do I have a valid reason to file a lawsuit against their homeowners insurance? They have a million dollar coverage with a 300k umbrella policy?

You should get an attorney and and ask about filing suit against your folks. Their homeowners coverage will represent them. Bring copies of any documents you signed with the insurance company.
