Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

I have a personal injury case going on right now. I fell and broke my femur 4/2012. After being accused of doing it on purpose by the property insurance, I presude getting a lawyer to handle the case. After 2 1/2 years we are finally getting to mediation. I am very unhappy with my choice in lawyers at this point. It became very apparent early on that we may have made the wrong choice, but I hung in there giving him the benefit of the doubt. After mediation, I am again frustrated with my choice, and am wondering if after this amount of time has passed, can I change lawyers, or am I stuck with who I have?

You can change lawyers, but you will have to pay your current attorney and your new one. So, you may end up paying more in attorney fees then you are presently planning on paying. Premise cases are difficult. You may have trouble finding another attorney, especially if you have an upcoming trial setting. Your new attorney may end up giving you advice similar to your present attorney.
