Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

What can I do?

Recently a friend hurt his arm while participating in a activity at my house. I specifically told him I wasn't responsible for any damages to him or his property and I have it on video. Now he is suing me. Is there anything I can to in defense?

Re: What can I do?

Immediately forward all court documents relating to the lawsuit to your home owner's insurance. If the injury is covered under the policy, the insurance carrier will either settle the claim or retain legal counsel to defend you.

Contact your homeowners' insurance. If you do not have homeowners' insurance coverage, contact an attorney who does defense work who can discuss possible defenses to your friend's claim against you.
