Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

Is vertebrae osteophyte (neck area) considered hard injury

Involved in a head on collision, my air bag did not deploy. On impact, my Eagle Talon lifted a 3/4 ton pickup. I was travelling approximately 35 m.p.h. and the impact thrusted me upward and I hit the top of my head on the ceiling. X-rays showed an osteophyte. Should I try to settle for soft tissue injury which I think is around 3x medical expenses or should I use a higher factor for settling with their insurance for my injuries. Thank you.

The 3x medical for a soft tissue injury is an urban legend. Many cases are less & many cases are MUCH more. It depends on too many factors to list here. Talk to a PI lawyer who is familiar with the local venues where you could bring suit if necessary. Where the claim is can be a factor in its value.
