Re: Adding a person to a Deed

You would use a Warranty Deed but with special wording to convey the amount of interest you want your parents to receive. Typically I charge $100 to prepare such a document. You may want to have a lawyer help you to make sure it is done properly. PS - Do not use a Quit Claim Deed because when you go to sell, the title company will not recognize it as an insurable interest.
