Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

My Father and his 2 sisters inherited my grandparents house. My father is living in the house and has been since before my grandma died and since she passed away. My aunts husband was made executor of the will. they decided to sell the house and did to my brother. my father is fixing to have to move. Hwe was wondering whos is responsible for the property taxes on the house for this year.

IF the sales contract to your Brother did not provide an agreement as to who would pay, then it lis likely going to be pro-rated between your Dad (or you if you were living there and want to cover it) and the buyer Brother. Its a family thing so it seems like you folks might want to work this out. Would have been nice if everyone who got money out of the sale paid your Father's share, which they can still do by agreement!
