Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

I received a letter from a law firm stating they were going to sell my property if I didn't pay my back taxes by a due date. I went to the County Court tax office and paid all taxes before due date. This was in Feb 2013. I went into the website to pay my taxes for this year and they have another name as the owner. What can I do ??

If your property was sold for taxes, you have a right to redeem it. Contact the lawyer who wrote you and explain what happened, but bear in mind he is not your lawyer. If that doesn't get it worked out, you may have to hire a lawyer yourself.
