Fatal Accident

I had just got off from work me and my wife were carpooling at the time and I also had my 4 year daughter in the car. I was an wreck on 183 in Irving when a car my blind side weave over in my lane i step on my breaks in the breaks just locked up on me so I ended up hitting the wall on left of the freeway and then bouce back into tracffic hitting another car which ended up flip over. The men in the other car passed away. The cop told me that every fatal wreck has to go to the grand jury in texas. My question is what is most likely going happen to me I was not speeding or under the influence anying substance.

Get a copy of the police report. Review it to verify that it correctly sets out the chain of events.

Call the Dallas County Grand Jury Clerk. They will tell you when the case is set on the Grand Jury calendar.

If you have any concerns at all, (and I still would), retain an attorney to present your case to the grand jury. You have a right to present your evidence. You should also consult with a personal injury attorney.
