Affidavit of Heirship

My father died without a will. He has been divorced twice, from my mother and my step-mother. When we file an affidavit of heirship, will we have to have the divorce decrees?

An affidavit of heirship is a sworn statement before a notary. The affiant swears to the truth of the information. The divorce decrees can be attached as exhibits, but that is not absolutely necessary.
