I would like to ask what happens if the person was made redundant and he informs to the bank whilst he has to pay credit cards which is covered under credit shield and bank does not accepts the letter and still calls/sends SMS to pay his credit card payment whilst he is not able to pay? Is he be questioined at the airport if he exits the country? and then returns back on the same visa???

The Credit Shield provided by Banks are subject to certain rules and regulations. The Shield is actually provided by some Insurance Company which has tie up with the Bank. You have to ascertain the applicable rules for the Credit Shield and whether your case comes within the said framework. Only in such case would your dues as on the date of termination from employment get waived. For staking the said benefit you must have claimed with your Banks for the waiver alongwith the required Documents and follow up with them. If you had staked claim and the Bank refused, then there must be a valid reason for the same. Without perusing your Documents, it would not be possible to give you an opinion on the same.

If the Banks have presented the Security Cheques and after getting them dishonoured, filed Police Complaint, then he would be held at the time of exit from the Country. Till the case gets settled, now the Authorities at times, may not renew the Visa.
