Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Utah

i got accused of stealing and using the property, i got 2 misdemeanors b for it , i was wondering how long would my sentence be or would there be just community service as i am a college student with a clean record and my first time trouble with the law. and is it illegal to talk to the person who is charging me ,

t depends on the actual facts. Misdemeanors will not be more than a1 year in jail, but for a 1st offense could be a fine with community service. Ask the prosecutor about a plea in abeyance.
