Legal Question in Disability Law in Virginia

Possible disability discrimination

I started working for a company in 4/07, started having back problems almost immediately, in 12/07 my neurologist limited my work schedule to no more than 2-3 hours a day, I believe the company I worked for set a presadent by accomodating my reduced hours for the Christmas rush, I wasn't even scheduled for Valentine's Day, but Mother's Day 08, the company wanted me to work 55 hours a week, and I couldn't and they fired me, is this legal?

Re: Possible disability discrimination

Unless you were working under the protection of a contract covering this issue, my answer would be yes (quite legal).
