Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Virginia
Is it illegal or a violation of my rights to be searched by a male officer if I am a female. A stop for a license plate light out turned into an arrest when the officer found my friend who was in the car at the time prescription medicine in my pocket and charged me with a class 5 felony.
