Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia

Got a letter in mail yesterday 27th may 2017,to say I have to appear in court on July 17th 2017 for credit card debt,what should I do, please help

See a lawyer before then to determine if you have any defenses or if there is a likelihood of a failure of the plaintiff to prove the case (i.e., a debt buyer). If you can't win the case and you can't pay the debt, you may also want to discuss the possibility of bankruptcy.
