Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia

I have received letter from my partner regarding Law suit on Right to Contribution

I do not have money because I do not have any monthly fix income.

I have only one house and I do not have any equity on my house.

What happened if they go to court?

I am not able to afford lawyer.

What can happen to me as well as with my house.

A court hearing the matter might enter a judgment against you

if it finds that you have legal responsibility in the underling claim

referenced by your partner in this particular letter which could

then be enforced through any assets which you do have which may be subject to seizure by your judgment creditor (your partner).
