Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

Laws around nudism

Good afternoon,

I am a home nudist and want to

know if there is anything illegal

about answering the front door in

the nude. As a nudist, I typically

don't wear anything at home, but

certainly wouldn't want to be

arrested if I answer the door that

way.

Thanks!

Re: Laws around nudism

I'm reasonably confident that upon a proper complaint filed by a citizen of your community, who, having passed your open door on the street outside with, perhaps, her small child in tow, and thereupon having confronted your unseemly (and likely mortifying) presence looming "buck naked" in the doorway, so to speak, that some statute or local ordinance having to do with the prevention of public degradation or disorder or the preservation, perhaps, of the commonweal, could be found to have you taken into custody to deter any further such narcissistic behaviour on your part.
