Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

I was living in Atlanta, GA and had an arrest, not a conviction, on my record in 2006. I have had the arrest expunged, but it is still coming up when I applied for a job. What do I need to do to rectify this problem? I now live in Martinsville,Virginia.

The problem may lie with the Georgia Central Criminal Records Exchange(or its equivalent) and whether or not the bureaucratic paperwork connected with expungement has been properly processed.

You may want to contact them to determine whether in fact this is he case

and what needs to be done to clear the problem up.
