Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

my ex took me to court to amend custody

i have been the primary custodiasl parent for 3 years. We just got out of court my ex was assking to amend custody and he wanted primary. He presented his case and after my lawyer put a motion to strike the fathers evidence the judge granted it. He called to day and said if i give him more time with her he won't appeal. I have already spent 12,000 and don't want to sink anymore in to this matter. What can i do? Can he keep doing this?

Re: my ex took me to court to amend custody

You can probably rest easy; his appeal is likely to go nowhere. (The fact that the court struck the petitioner's evidence would strongly suggest that he had no credible admissible evidence to support his various claims and therefore no real grounds on which to base an appeal.)
