Legal Question in Medical Leave in Virginia

I have intermittent FMLA at work. My normal work schedule is Tuesday - Friday 6 am till 430 pm. We usually work 10 hour days. There are many days we get off early . We may work an 8 hour day. My question is... When I am absent on FMLA can they automatically charge 10 hours against me or should they be charging only the hours I would have actually worked that day. I have missed several days that the warehouse was shut down in 8 hours but they charged 10 hours against me. but if I go in late or leave early only the hours I worked go against me.

Only the hours that your section of the company, i.e., the warehouse was actually operational (in my opinion).
