Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia

I called a dealership two days ago, I seen a car I wanted and plus I knew the people that owned, basically I checked the car out liked it, then I gave the son a phone call who has the dealership licenses, well we discussed about price he wanted 1895 for the car asked him could I do car payments didn't have all cash up front, told him I would bring 800 in cash Thursday and 1095 in payments for 3months 90 dollars a week, we agreed that on Thursday I was coming to pick up car, told him move it off parking lot and put it in bck. Well got a voicemail today stating, his father does not want to finance the cars and the whole 1895 up front. My question, what can I do about it since the son and I had a verbal contract?

Probably, not much (in my opinion) since it was a verbal contract made with a purported seller who apparently did not have final authority to "do the deal", so to speak.
